BIO

Mike is a partner at Blais Halpert Tax Partners LLP, which is the outsourced tax department of our firm. He has practiced tax law for over 40 years in Boston and New York City, including over 20 years as the Chair of the Tax Section at Mintz Levin. He has advised on many hundreds of significant M&A transactions and initial public offerings for public and private companies, private equity and venture capital funds, and management teams.

In the real estate area, he works with developers and investors in acquisitions and sales, sale-leasebacks, like-kind exchanges, cross-border investment, and special real estate tax incentives.

Mike has a B.S. and J.D. from Harvard University and an LL.M. in Tax from New York University.
