BIO

Miles Williams is an advisor and advocate to businesses in a variety of industries. His corporate law practice primarily includes business formations, corporate governance, contract drafting, mergers & acquisitions, and securities. He handles matters including drafting agreements between founders, drafting and negotiating purchase agreements for the purchase or sale of businesses, lease negotiations, general contract drafting, facilitating capital raises, employment and consulting agreements, and various other business matters. He has advised both buyers and sellers of businesses in transactions ranging in size and spanning industries. Miles is tenacious and empowers his clients to be knowledgeable about their legal matters.

In addition to joining Kupfer, Miles founded his own law firm upon graduating law school and relates to his clients in the journey of starting and building a business. He uses this in his approach as an advocate in closing transactions and keeps the bigger picture in mind, while also accounting for the detailed legal aspects of a deal. Miles values the ability to run his own law firm and balance being a father and husband.

Prior to graduating from the University of Colorado Law School, Miles received his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University and briefly worked as a banker afterward. He currently serves on the board of a non-profit that focuses on helping underserved entrepreneurs start and grow businesses. In his free time, Miles enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer and piano, or trying new restaurants.
