Olivia Carrara is an employment attorney with significant experience serving both private‑sector and federal employees. Olivia’s experience also includes counseling clients on transactional matters, such as executive counseling and drafting employment agreements. She has represented clients in federal courts, state tribunals, and administrative forums such as the MSPB and EEOC. She has litigated under various employment statutes, including Title VII, ADEA, ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, FMLA, and the Whistleblower Protection Act, as well as state analogous statutes. 

Prior to joining Kupfer, Olivia served as an Associate Attorney at Kalijarvi, Chuzi, Newman & Fitch where she represented employees in a variety of employment issues ranging from disability issues, including failure to accommodate an employee's disability, and all types of discrimination and retaliation. 

Olivia earned her Juris Doctor from American University, Washington College of Law, where she served as a Senior Staffer and Technical Editor for the Journal of Gender, Social Policy & the Law. During her time at law school, Olivia also participated in the Re-Entry Clinic, representing incarcerated clients in parole hearings before the Maryland Parole Commission. Her legal career has been marked by a steadfast commitment to promoting workers’ rights and fostering equitable labor practices.  

Before attending law school, Olivia graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Missouri, where she also studied abroad at the Universidad de Alicante in Spain.
